Archiving puts a chat aside. Deleting removes it. If you may want to return to a conversation, choose archive.
Open your archive
Open your profile menu, then Settings → Archived chats. Chats archived from History appear here.
Find a conversation
Search by the chat title or project name. This search does not look through every message in a conversation. Use the project filter to narrow the list to one project or chats with no project.
The sort menu lets you arrange chats by when they were archived, updated, or created, by message count, or alphabetically. Recently archived shows the newest additions first.
Preview a chat
Select a conversation to see its details and a preview of its latest messages. The preview is not the full conversation: it shows up to six messages.
Restore a chat
Choose the restore action beside the conversation. This takes it out of the archive so you can return to it from your chat history. Restoring is different from creating a new chat.
Delete an archived chat
Choose the delete action beside the conversation you want to remove. If you made a mistake, use Undo in the notification straight away. Undo is available briefly, not as a permanent recovery folder.
Delete several archived chats
Check the search and project filter before using the bulk delete action. It applies to the chats matching the current view. Clear the filters only if you intend to include all archived chats.
If a deletion fails, read the message in the app. Do not assume it completed just because the row briefly disappeared.
Deleting is not archiving. Keep anything you need before removing it, and do not rely on being able to recover a chat after the Undo window closes.
