Light, Dark, and Automatic
Choose Light or Dark to keep one appearance. Automatic follows your device, including changes to its light or dark setting. Your choice is saved in this browser.
Theme changes the canvas, reading surfaces, text, and control edges together. Automatic follows a device schedule if you have one; it does not create a schedule itself.
Accent
Your accent marks selected controls and other interface details. Choose a preset or enter your own color in Custom accent color. The presets are Blue, Purple, Pink, Orange, and Green. Automatic accent uses the theme’s neutral treatment—dark in Light mode, light in Dark mode. It is separate from Automatic theme. Try your accent against both themes so selected controls remain easy to distinguish.Font size
Move the slider or enter a number from 14 to 18. The markers are Standard, Large, and Largest. This scales interface text without rewriting your messages. Resetting this slider returns it to 14. The interface uses Inter. Larger text wraps sooner and takes more vertical space. Move the preview’s slider to compare the same paragraph. Browser zoom also affects what you see, so check your choice in a real conversation.Contrast and control size
Control size is separate from Font size. You can make text easier to read without making the same change to controls.
Reduce motion
Turn on Reduce motion if movement is distracting or uncomfortable. It limits decorative animation while keeping progress and state changes visible.Reset appearance
Reset appearance restores the defaults together: Automatic theme, Blue accent, font size 14, contrast 0, control size 1×, and Reduce motion off. The reset appears when a choice differs from its default.This does not delete your conversations, files, or account. Use an individual slider’s reset when you want to undo only one adjustment.
