# Your account profile

> Update your name and photo, manage location sharing, and invite a friend.

Open your profile menu, then **Settings → Account → Profile**. Your profile is separate from your health avatar: changing your photo or display name does not change your health history.

## Edit your name and location

Choose **Edit profile**.

* **Display name** is the name shown in your account. You can use up to 80 characters. Changing it does not change your sign-in email.
* **Location** is a city or country you enter yourself, up to 120 characters. It does not turn on your device location.

Choose **Save** to keep your changes or **Cancel** to leave these fields unchanged. Wait for the success message before assuming a change was saved.

## Change your profile image

1. Select your profile image, either on the Profile page or inside **Edit profile**.
2. Choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF image smaller than 16 MB.
3. In **Adjust profile image**, use **Zoom**, **Horizontal position**, and **Vertical position** to frame it.
4. Save the image when the preview looks right.

The app saves a cropped image for your profile. Do not expect an animated GIF to stay animated. Image changes save separately from the name and location fields.

## Share a location snapshot

The **Live location** section uses your browser location permission. It is separate from the city or country you type into your profile.

**Share once** asks the browser for a location reading and saves it to your account profile. A reading may be approximate or recently cached. When available, the app shows its accuracy and observation time.

**Share at all times** currently saves a reading and your sharing preference. It does not provide continuous background tracking in the current app. Do not use it as a live safety-monitoring service.

**Stop sharing** turns the preference off and clears the saved live-location snapshot from your profile. It does not change your browser permission; manage that separately in your browser settings.

If the browser denies permission or cannot get a reading, the app shows a failure. You can still enter a city or country manually without enabling browser location.

## Invite a friend

An invitation is a link to sign in to Anistratenco. It does not give your friend access to your chats, health information, or account.

* **Send invite:** enter your friend’s email address. This opens a draft in your email application; review and send it there. Anistratenco does not silently send it for you.
* **Copy invite link:** copy the sign-in link to share yourself.
* **Show QR code:** let your friend scan the same sign-in link. Choose **Hide QR code** when you are finished.

## Email and sign-in settings

Use **Settings → Account → Security** for email, password recovery, and other account-security controls. Those are separate from editing your profile name or photo.
